Around
17kms inland from Fethiye… great asphalt road driving
up through breathtaking pine forests.
You actually pass a dog sanctuary on your way which I have to say after
visiting several in

value for money here … and you’re just a dolmus away
from Fethiye!
Quite a few British ex-pats in the village now… I’m not surprised… if
you don’t want too many around I’d stay clear!
In Uzumlu you can find the best of both
worlds… a retreat away from the tourist crowds but easy access to all the
holiday activity in Ovacik/Hisaronu/Fethiye/Calis
when you fancy. Distances in kms are approximately 17km from Fethiye, 15km
to Calis, 32km from Olu deniz beach and 65km from Dalaman airport (around 50 minutes drive time). No taxi rank in the village and a reduced dolmus service in the winter … your own wheels advisable!
